ATP Tissue Processor
With a single precision rotary valve, the ATPT safely transports both reagents and waxes to and from the retort, thereby preventing solution crossover,
while improving tissue quality. Whereas dual valves or solenoids, found on competing systems often contribute to rising service costs in order to maintain
a well-functioning instrument, the single valve system is virtually "maintenance free". Additionally, warm water flushes are no longer required as a weekly
maintenance function to keep the rotary valve clean. This labor intensive task is required on some competing models.
The ATP1 is the only tissue processor to direct the flow of all reagents, waxes and cleaning solutions to and from the processing chamber through a single
rotary valve within a heated chamber. Reagent carry over problems common to multiple valve and/or manifold systems, and excessive wax temperatures associated
with cartridge heated systems are completely eliminated. The net result is a reduction in reagent consumption with consistent processing quality.
