SHURClean™ Fume Hoods Meet Or Exceed Published Industry Standards

SHURClean Fume Hoods provide lab ventilation to effectively protect technicians from the hazardous fumes associated with histology chemicals and solvents. Even when HVAC ventilation is not available or possible, histotechnologists can safely utilize chemicals such as xylene and formalin in the grossing area of the lab.

The SC-36S-X/F is an ideal solution for adding fume hoods to labs without the need for extensive equipment reconfiguration, as these models have built-in filters  for both xylene and formalin fumes.

For installations where external ventilation is available, the SC-WOME-TV or -RV sloped front models are available with 6-inch exhaust ports that can be top or rear mounted.

All styles feature a user-friendly LED cotnrol panel that enables the user to easily program and control ON/OFF times and fan speeds.

Choose the Style that Best Suits Your Needs:
Sloped-Front Fume Hoods: all units feature vibrant LED lighting inside the work area and utilize hinged sashes for manual grossing and/or staining applications. All units meet operator face velocity requirements of published industry standards with sashes closed.
 
Built-In Filtration for Easy Placement:
The SC-36S-X/F and SC-DD models have a built-in updraft filter for areas where external HVAC ventilation is not available or possible. This is an ideal solution for adding fume hooda to existing labs without the need for extensive equipment reconfiguration. Filters are available for both xylene and formalin fumes.
 
User-Friendly Control Panel:
The SC-36-S-X/F models feature an LED cotnrol panel that enables the user to easily program and control ON/OFF times and fan speeds for optimal efficiencies and fume management.
 
Top or Rear Mounted Exhaust Ports:
Where external ventilation is available, the SC-36S-WOME-TV or -RV and SC-48S-WOME-TV or -RV sloped front models are available with 6-inch exhaust ports that can be top or rear mounted.
