The Purair® Basic Series general application ductless fume hoods are designed to protect the user and environment from hazardous vapours generated on the work surface. The Basic series comes in 3 standard widths in either metal or polypropylene construction with 4 leg configuration options: standard, straight (for reduced depth), extra tall and extra tall straight(reduced depth) giving you the option of 24 standard models.

Each filtration system is selected for its specific application. The Multiplex Filter broadens the range of applications with more than 14 carbon filter configurations for use with vapours or organic solvents, acids, mercury and formaldehyde. HEPA/ULPA filters can add to biological safety.
Easy to install & Use. The ductless fume hood is self-contained and does not require venting to the outside. Many units are portable and can be moved with minimal downtime and without filter changes.
Filter assembly is easy to access and easy to change, unique filter clamping design eliminates bypass leakage
Cabinet airflow and face velocity protect users from incidental exposures to fumes.
Filter I.D. window displays installed filter part number and install date on front panel
Hinged front sash protects the contents from external contact and better isolates the air within. Sash is easy to open and close
Controls for blower and low airflow alarm
Steel Support Frame with chemical-resistant expoxy coating adds strength. Optional all polypropylene construction is also available
The 99.5% effective electrostatic pre-filter can be changed while unit is operating to prevent operator exposure to chemical vapours
Electrical cords and cables are safely routed into the cabinet through ports on the back and side walls
Low airflow alarm warns user of insufficient face velocity
Manual speed controller allows the operator to set the centrifugal fan motor speed as desired
Filter access door keys prevent unauthorized removal or accidental exposure to dirty filters
360° visibility with clear back and side panels which allow ambient illumination into the chamber and provide users with an unobstructed view
Meets or exceeds OSHA, ANSI and relevant international standards
High capacity air handling system delivers face velocity of 100 FPM
