The CoreDish Collection: A NEW approach to help increase productivity in the laboratory. Performing a large number of biopsies means an increase in the number of containers handled and consequently a technical overload of the transmission network, which occurs without any financial counterpart.

A new approach had to be developed in order to increase productivity. The CoreDish holds up to 12 biopsies from the same patient reducing the risk of error and the number of containers.

Many configurations offered to hold different biopsies of the breast, prostate, upper GI tract and lower GI tract. A label on the base for essential information such as patient ID, doctor, date and time. A security label is supplied to ensure integrity of contents from collection stage to reopening of CoreDish. Also available unfilled (without formalin).
Item No. M970-D5B-1 Designed specifically for radiography, separation, imaging and transport of core needle breast biopsies. Special absorbent liner keeps specimens moist (when saline solution is added) prior to radiography while helping to attenuate the x-ray beam. Four compartments are clearly identified (3,6,9,12) with radiolucent numbers showing up clearly on the radiograph.
